YMS Reigns at Regionals

In 7^th grade boys’ basketball action last night your Yorkville Foxes captured the regional championship, defeating the Trojans of Shorewood Troy 61-57.  Jon Jungr led all scorers with 24 points in a tremendous effort.  Christian Payne followed up with 14 points as well as an unbelievable defensive game.  Austin Reifsteck also finished the game with 10 points.  The Foxes will play in the sectional championship on Wednesday, January 30^th at 6pm at Shorewood Troy Middle School against the Minooka Indians with a chance to go to the IESA state tournament.  GO FOXES!
