Wilmington Spiritline Invitational 2012

It was a great start for Yorkville Cheerleading, as the YMS Cheerleaders started their Competitive Season at the Wilmington Spiritline Invitational on Sunday, November 18^th at Wilmington High School.  As YMS’s first season in the Large Junior High division, allowing 20 girls on the floor, they knew they were really stepping up to a challenge.  They worked hard and pulled off a very solid routine, hitting all of their stunts!  YMS came in 2^nd place being edged out by Queen of Marters in 1^st place by only 1.27 points.  The YMS Competition Team will be working hard to improve their routine and adding in more difficult stunts to be ready for their next competition, the Midwest Cheer Fest on December 2^nd at Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park in which both YMS cheer squads will be attending!
