The YMS boys’ soccer team had a spectacular season with a record of 13-4. Highlights of the season included a stellar come from behind victory against Ira Jones Middle School. Additionally, an amazing defensive effort led by Ryan Reynolds, Bailey Kish, Thomas Alfaro, Spencer Snider, and goalies Wyatt McKibbon and Austin Kish generated eleven shutout victories out of the seventeen games played. Outstanding teamwork, depth, positive character, and continued improvement all season showed a superior demonstration of the Yorkville Middle School Soccer Program both on and off the field. The Foxes offensive balance was another key component of the season. Phenomenal Midfield support from Nick Arcara, Steve Ramirez, Jake Slavin, Taz Phandanouvong, Bobby Reichert, and Wyatt McKibbon played an integral part of the Foxes offense.
