Home » Cross Country NewsBoys Cross Country 3rd in State.November 5, 2012 By Seth Schoonover of Yorkville High SchoolThe boys cross country team ran an impressive race in the IHSA 2A state finals and finished 3rd behind state champion Chicago Jones and 2nd place finisher Belvidere North. The Foxes were led by 2 all-state performers: Jake Hoffert (12th) and Luke Hoffert (15th). Other impressive results were turned in by: Zak Arcara (30th), Eric Baker (51st), Nick Harrison (53rd), Nolan Tweedy (73rd), and Shawn O'Malley (76th).
