ATL Midnight Express 7th Grade Team Wins D1 Spects 4th Annual BattleGrounds Tournament!

Weekend of March 16th, 2012:

The ATL Midnight Express Team represented in the D1 Spects 4th Annual Battlegrounds Tournament by showcasing 4 teams to compete wih some of the fiercest competition the City of Atlanta has to offer. The eighth grade orange team advanced to the finals and earned a 2nd placed finish by defeating some skilled teams such as the Columbus Stars and the Atlanta Knicks before falling to a strong Jones County Team in the Finals. The 7th grade team captured the crown by defeating Team Atlanta Teams Red and White and ended up in the finals with a fundamentally sound Atlanta Rage Team. Our ATL Midnight Express 8th Grade blue team that was newly formed with many players that have never played AAU basketball before made it to the quarterfinals while a depleted 9/10 grade team made it to the quarterfinals in their first game together. Go ATL Midnight Express!!!!
