In order to play our part in helping to mitigate the struggle within our society, Theresa and Jerry Clement have created a Basketball Organization called Basketball for Kids. Our team, the ATL Midnight Express, provides intense physical training, basketball skills development, education and mentoring for 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th grade boys. This organization provides a medium for the youth to explore their dreams by pursuing positive goals while embarking on life's adventures.
This team isn't focused on just winning, but providing a value-added impact and example for our struggling youth. The children are taught proper etiquette, how to maintain their grades by providing study sessions while facilitating the training of simple life skills such as hygiene, learning to cook, cutting hair, etc.
Moreover, the program enables students the opportunity to stay physically active and healthy.
