Wrestling 2011-2012

January 17, 2012 - Congratulations to the following wrestlers who competed and placed in the 16-team tournament this past Saturday at Reed Custer High School. At 145 pounds, Donato DiGiulio took 5th place. At 160 pounds, P.J. O’Connor took 4th place. At 126 pounds, Sam Karim took 2nd place. At 138 pounds, Joe Perez took 1st place. Congratulations guys! Good luck the rest of the year.

January 9, 2012 - Congratulations to the following Ridgewood Wrestlers for placing in the top 6 at the highly competitive Leyden Invitational this past Saturday. In sixth place at 132 pounds: Henry Meyers, and at 182 pounds, James Lee. In fifth place at 138 pounds: Joe Perez. In third place, at 145 pounds, Donato DiGiulio. In second place, at 126 pounds, Sam Karim. Awesome job guys!

December 12, 2011 - Congratulations to the following wrestlers who placed in the very competitive Downers Grove South Invitational this past Saturday. P.J. O’Connor took 4th place at 160 pounds, Donato DiGiulio took 2nd place at 145 pounds, and Henry Meyers took 1st place at 132 pounds. Great job guys!

November 28, 2011 - Congratulations to the following Ridgewood wrestlers for placing in the Guerin Prep tournament this Saturday. In 4th place Joe Magnelli at 170 pounds, and James Lee at 182 pounds In 3rd place Henry Meyers at 132 pounds. In 2nd place Joe Perez at 138 pounds. Tournament champions were Sam Karim at 126 pounds, and Donato DiGiulio at 145 pounds. Outstanding job guys!
