Home » Multimedia NewsFour Degrees of WRHS Television Contest PageNovember 3, 2011 By Kevin Szaflik of WRHS Radio/TelevisionIt will be a November to Remember. You may have heard of the former ABC television series Six Degrees or "The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game. Ridgewood’s version is called "The Four Degrees of WRHS." The rules are the same. An actress or actor's name is given, and the object of the game is to link that person through a movie or TV show to someone who has appeared on WRHS. For complete rules, check out our website. In order for a name to count, the person in question must have on screen credit, and speak at least one line in that television show, DVD, video, movie or videogame. If it takes you more than four people, then you are trying too hard. A partial list of celebrities that have appeared on WRHS is on our website. For example: Chevy Chase has never appeared on WRHS... but you can link him within one person of someone who has been on Ridgewood radio or TV. Chevy Chase appears on Community with Dino Stamatopolous. Dino Stamatopolous has been on WRHS. Here is an example: Jim Carrey appeared "In Living Color" with Tommy Davidson, who started on "Malcolm and Eddie"with Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who appeared on "The Cosby Show" with Phylicia Rashad who has been seen on WRHS. That one is worth 4 points. You would get 3 points for saying Jim Carrey on "In Living Color" with T'Keyah 'Crystal' Keymáh from "Cosby" with Phylicia Rashad. The lower score wins. If it takes you more than four people, then you are trying too hard. A partial list of celebrities that have appeared on WRHS is on our website. Link the day's celebrity to someone on WRHS in four people or less. Send your answers along with what movie or show they appear together in with your name, phone number and period one teacher and room number to wrhs@ridgenet.org, or put it in Mr. Szaflik's mailbox. Good luck, from WRHS. About Your Health: Behind The Scenes/Glass Roots/Hungry Hearts: Ridgewood Reporters On TV: The Scoop: Music Alive: WRHS Rebel Sports: On Public Service Announcements:
