5/4/2012 - Class Elections
Attention Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors. Now is the time to make a difference at Ridgewood. Class elections will be held in two weeks time for the class of 2013, 2014 and 2015. Positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are open for each class. Pick up petitions from your class advisor or from Mr. Parrillo (Room 149) or Ms. Cantos (Room 233) Petitions are due May 9th. [T. Parrillo]
5/4/2012 - Spring Play
The Ridgewood High School Drama Club and Thespian Troupe 6662 Proudly present: Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare You know the story: Duke meets girl who swears off love but falls in love with a young man, who is really a woman, who is in love with the duke, who is in love with the woman who has sworn off love but... Never mind. It's a love story. It's a comedy. It's Shakespeare. May 17th, 18th and 19th on the Front Lawn. Tickets are $3 for students and seniors, $5 adults Thanks, and hope to see you there! [J. Attention students interested in taking Driver Education this summer: There will be a registration meeting after school Friday, May 11th in the student cafeteria, Room 123. If you cannot attend or have questions, please contact Mr. Schau. [S. Schau]
5/1/2012 - Culinary Cook-Off
For all of you that like to cook, consider this! Triton College is hosting its annual Culinary Cook-Off Saturday, May 5th. The cook-off is comprised of teams of two high school students each that will be given a menu to prepare and ultimately compete against other high school teams. If you are interested, see Mr. Gyori in the Student Services office. Only one entry per school is allowed; so it is on the first come, first serve basis. [J. Gyori]
5/1/2012 - Mandatory Football Meeting
All current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in playing football next year: please attend the mandatory meeting after school on Tuesday, May 8th at 3:05 PM in Room 231. Football players currently involved in spring sports must also attend this brief informational meeting. It has been cleared with your spring coaches. You will receive your summer calendar and other paper work. If you are interested in playing, please make sure you attend this meeting. [C. Zack]
