Home » Football NewsSecond Half too Much as Wolverines win 28-15October 1, 2012 By Chuck Hartman of Sibley East FootballThe first few minutes of the game looked like Watertown would pull away to an easy win. After the Wolverines scored quickly to open the game WM returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD and added another score to make it 15-6 in the first quarter. The Wolverine defense stiffened and eventually Sibley East was able to knock on the door. A 12 yard competion to Tyler Bates cut into the lead and a two-yard run by Brandon Ashton gave Sibley East the lead 21-15. In the fourth quarter Erik Danielson intercepted a pass and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown.
