Home » Football NewsWolverines stay hot, defeat Tigers 49-18September 23, 2012 By Chuck Hartman of Sibley East FootballFollowing a 56 point performance the previous week the Wolverine offense stayed hot scoring 49 points and the defense played stout once again as Sibley East picked up a 49-18 win over Belle Plaine. After a back and forth first quarter the Wolverines raced out to a 28-12 halftime lead and added to it from there. Erik Danielson led the Wolverine offense with 201 yards on 13 carries, and scored on runs of 37, 55, and 77 yards. Tyler Bates had 96 yards receiving, and Ben White tallied 13 total tackles.
