I wanted to give you an update on the USTFCCCA Convention schedule. We once again have seven sessions scheduled specifically for the high school coaches. I have been working with Wayne Clark to line up the speakers. In addition, we also have 16 event specific sessions scheduled for day one (December 12), 8 early sessions scheduled on day two followed by the previously mentioned high school sessions. Finally on day three we have 12 early sessions scheduled followed by the final high school sessions.
The Mondo welcome dinner and social will take place on December 13th. The annual Coaches Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction and the Bowerman Award ceremony are scheduled for the following evening. As usual, all social events, awards programs, clinic sessions and meals (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners) are included with the convention registration.
For the second consecutive year, the USTFCCCA Convention will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Coaches can go to http://www.ustfccca.org/ustfccca-convention or contact me for additional information. Registration for the convention is open.
Additionally, we will also be holding four different Track & Field Academy programs on Saturday, December 10, Sunday 12/11 and Monday 12/12 prior to the start of the convention. Information about the TFA programs can be found at http://www.ustfccca.org/track-and-field-academy .
Coaches from USTFCCCA member states (CO,KY, LA ,MA, MN, NM, OH, & WI ) and the host state of TX can register for the convention at the member rate.
