Home » Basketball NewsFayetteville Center has been in the Division 1 Scholarship derby for the Arkansas Class of 2013August 28, 2011 By Ron Crawford of Wings Elite Basketball ClubFayetteville High Schools, 6' 9" 235 lb Center Tyler Mc Cullough has had a D1 offer since the spring starting with a Master in Player evaluation, Nebraska Head Coach "Doc" Sadler, the fomer Razorback, Westark Head Coach, UTEP Head Coach and one of the best former Wings Coaches ever, made his run through Northwest Arkansas last Spring and made it clear he sees a bright future ahead for Tyler Mc Cullough who played on the very successful Wings Elite 16 & Under Blue Team this year, Mc Cullough also played on the Wings Elite NIKE EYBL Team in the Peach Jam. Obviously "Doc" was correct as always in his evaluation of Tyler, UALR Head Coach Steve Shields and Assitanct Coach Joe Kleine (Who knows a little about Post Players) offered Tyler a Scholarship after a great performance at the Bears Trojans Elite Camp. Tyler added an offer from Missouri State Head Coach Paul Lusk, who was a speaker at the Northwest Arkansas Basketball School hosted by Springdale Har-Ber Head Coach Adam Simmons on Saturday. Tyler will be a big part of Coach Kyle Adams and the Fayetteville Bulldogs run at the 7A State Title this year.
