Cory Backes

This year Cory will be starting his 6^th season as a Willmar Youth Wresting coach.  Cory began coaching youth wrestling when his son started wrestling as a 5 year old. 

Cory became a Willmar Cardinal Wrestler in first grade and continued to wrestle until he graduated from high school in 1991.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Business from St. Cloud State University.  Cory owns Backes Technology Services and has worked in the industry for the past 21 years. 

Cory and his wife, Jodi, have a daughter, Anna, and son,  Alex.  Jodi is a first grade  teacher at Kennedy Elementary.  Anna is an 8^th grader and Alex is a 6^th grader at Willmar Middle School.
