Willmar Cardinal Youth Football Camp

Camp Objective: 

To offer a high quality, high energy, five-day camp that concentrates on developing the fundamentals and techniques of football.

Camp Features: 

• Individual position drills and fundamentals
• Campers will be coached by Cardinal coaches and varsity players
• Game competition
• Get an early start on the 2012 football season
• T-shirts and watermelon on the last day of camp!

Camp Goals

• Develop fundamentals and techniques of offensive and defensive positions
• Learn the Cardinal offense and defense
• Build relationships and teamwork skills with fellow campers
• Experience competition and develop sportsmanship through game experience
• Work hard and have fun!!!

Who Can Paricipate in the camp?

Anyone who is entering 5th-9th grade in the fall of 2012

Camp Schedule

The camp will run from Monday, August 6th through Friday, August 10th.  Each day the camp will start at 10:00am sharp and end at 12:00pm.  The location of the football camp will be at the Willmar Middle School practice fields.  Campers can be dropped off in the parking lot near the practice fields. 

The first hour of the camp will consist of offensive and defensive position drills.  The second hour will be game competition.

Registration for the camp will be from now until the first day of camp.  You can register at Willmar Community Ed and Rec (WCER) or online at www.willmarcer.comd.  The cost of the camp will be $40, which includes the camp, t-shirt and watermelon.

Wat do campers need to bring?

Workout gear, shorts, and t-shirts (no pads required)

Tennis shoes or football cleats

Great attitude and enthusiasm!
