Wildcats Awarded #4 Seed, Host Chaska

     The pairings have been announced for the section 6AAA tournament. Our Wildcats were voted the #4 seed and will face a red hot Chaska Hawks team on Tuesday Feb. 28th. The Hawks have won 4 in a row (they play Holy Angels for their final regualar season home game on Thursday) including wins over Missota conference champion Chanhassen and Missota runner up New Prague.

     Waconia beat the Hawks in late January but the game was very competitive until the Wildcats hit a hot streak shooting the ball to pull away in the final minutes. Below are the seeds and pairings:

#1 Richfield vs. #8 Orono

#2 Benilde vs. #7 Holy Angels

#3 Holy Family vs. #6 Mound-Westonka

#4 Waconia vs. #5 Chaska

Game time on Tuesday will be at 7pm in the Waconia High School gym.
