INDIANAPOLIS, IN– TV 40 Sports continues to celebrate our 25th year of producing and broadcasting high school sports with the Indiana Members Credit Union High School Football Game of the Week this Friday night at 1030pm. This year WHMB will feature great high school rivalry games. This week’s game is an Indy Westside battle as three-time state champ Ritter travels toSpeedway. Last year’s game was a thrilling 32-29 win bySpeedway.
The Class 2A #3 Raiders from Ritter (3-0) last week rushed for 359 yards as they defeated Lapel. Logan Beaman led the way by gaining 138 yards on just eight carries. Ritter quarterback Jake Purichia went 8-for-10 for 101 yards in the Indiana Crossroads Conference victory. Speedway’s Austin Anglea threw three touchdown passes, two to Justin Brent, as Class 2A #10Speedway(2-1) knocked off previously unbeaten Beech Grove 54-21. Corey Ross rushed for a game-high 104 yards and two touchdowns for the the Sparkplugs.
Rob Blackman will call the play-by-play and College Football Hall of Famer Mark Herrmann will provide the color commentary.
This weekend’s game, for the first time ever, will also be available LIVE on the web starting at 7pm.
