Nahim pitches a complete game striking out 7, walking 2, hitting 1 batter and giving up only 3 hits and 1 run. Five innings he set down the side 1, 2, 3 thanks to solid, errorless play by the infield: Spencer Garret at 3rd, Neil Ratigan at Shortstop, Brian Whitney at 2nd and Harrison Goudiss at 1st. Only 2 balls were hit to the outfield and Roc Sherrell handled both balls easily. The game ended on a 4-6-3 double play: Brian to Neil to Harrison. David Lewis did a great job catching and threw out his 1st base runner of the year to end the inning in the 3rd. Nahim who reached base all 4 at-bats started the scoring with a line drive shot to dead center field for his 2nd Home Run of the year. Kevin Whitney playing his 1st game of the year in the number 2 slot in the batting order had a big game going 3 for 4 including a double driving in 3 runs and scoring 2 more. He executed a perfect squeeze play in the 4th to score Roc from 3rd and then advanced to 3rd on the overthrow of 1st by the pitcher. Neil was 1 for 3 reached on a error had a sacrifice fly, RBI and run scored; Brian 1 for 3 with a stolen base and RBI; Max Kemether was 1 for 4 reached on a error and scored a run; David Lewis 1 for 3 with an RBI and run scored; Roc Sherrell doubled was 1 for 3 reached on an error and scored 2 runs. Next up the Pack goes on the road Friday VS region foe First Presbyterian Day.
