Chargers Fall To Knights

The Lady Charger Gymnastics team opened their home schedule against the East Noble Knights on Thursday.  The Chargers despite improving from their first meet performance dropped the meet 93.1 to 74.55.  JoAnna Ness placed 3^rd all around for the Chargers while Taylor Hite finished 5^th all around.  Savannah Porter placed 3^rd in the vault for the Chargers while Ness tied for 4^th.  Ness received the only place for West Noble in the bars with a 5^th.  Ness also finished 4^th in the balance beam for the Chargers while she finished 3^rd in the Floor Exercise with Michaela Bevins picking up a 4^th place ribbon.  In the JV meet, Kaitlin Hedges won the Uneven Bars while Monica Guerrero picked up a 2^nd place finish in the Balance Beam.  Kennedy Champion won the JV Floor and Nicole Shaffer received a 3^rd place ribbon.  The Chargers next home meet is on Thursday, January 13^th at 6:00pm against the Dekalb Barons.  All home meets take place in the Middle School South Gym.
