Girls Soccer Downs Warriors and Wildcats

The West Noble Charger girls soccer team opened their season with a 3-1 win over Wawasee on Wednesday night. The offense for the Lady Chargers was led by Kimberly Pizana and Emily Morren with a total of 16 shots on goal. Scoring for the lady Chargers were Emily Morren, Kim Pizana, and Olga Landeros. Defensively for the Chargers, Sandy Carrillo and Diana Hernandez led the team allowing only one Wawasee goal by number 2 Sarah Lancaster. The JV match ended in a 0-0 tie.
Saturday the Chargers continued their winning ways with a 4-2 win over Whitko at Whitko. The West Noble offense was again led by Kimberly Pizana with two goals in the first half and two by Emily Morren in the second half. The defense was led by Kimberlym Cruz, Diana Hernandez, Liz Hernandez, and goalkeeper Kendal Baker. Whitko goals were both scored in the first half by Mary Overmeyer. Great job ladies!
