Lady Chargers Down Wawasee

The West Noble Lady Chargers jumped out to a 13 point halftime lead over Wawasee and never looked back Tuesday night in a 64-53 non conference win.  The Chargers were led by senior Kelsie Peterson's 23 points 5 assists and 5 steals.  Sophomore Becca Schermerhorn knocked down 14 ponts for the Chargers while junior Taylor Fisher added 10 to help the Chargers raise their record to 4-2.  Other Chargers scoring were Lexi Shepherd and Kenzie Cox with 6 points each, Shawna Young with 3 and Kaylie Warble with 2.  Young also added 4 steals and 3 assists while Warble led the Chargers in rebounding with 6.  Great job ladies!  The Chargers will travel to Eastside on Saturday for a noon tipoff for the JV while the Varsity will start at approximately 1:30pm.

The Junior Varsity team increased their record to 4-1 on the season by defeating Wawasee 35-26.  Brooke Lutton led the Chargers with 12 points while Kendal Baker added 9.  Meanwhile Kenzie Teel scored 6 points while Kelsey Clark, Erika Sandoval, Allison Ritchie, and Cara Groff each added 2 points.  Keep up the good work ladies!
