Chargers Down Eagles on Senior Night

The West Noble Chargers broke a 12-12 tie open in the 4th quarter by scoring 3 touchdowns on the way to a 32-12 victory over Fremont. The Chargers and Eagles were knotted at halftime 12-12 with West Noble getting scores from junior running backs Levi Nelson and Payton Shrock. In the 4th quarter West Noble took the lead by scoring a touchdown with a pass from senior quarterback Landon Stover to junior Brandon Moser. Minutes later Luke Wechter picked off a Fremont pass and took it to the endzone for a Charger touchdown. The final score of the evening was a 9 yard run by Levi Nelson. Nelson ended up with 183 yards on the ground while Payton Shrock added 67. The Chargers recognized senior players Adam Hursey, Landon Stover, Joe Lee, Carlos Medina, Uriel Macias, and manager Molly Marsh at halftime along with seniors from the Cross Country teams, Tennis Team, Cheerleaders, and Pep Band. The Football team will be in action next as they take on the Bishop Luers Knights of Fort Wayne in Sectional action this Friday at 7pm on the road. Good luck guys!
