The JV team travels to Carroll for the Carroll Invitational on Saturday. Good luck ladies!
The freshman team lost 9-25, 11-25. Coach Bankson had the following to say about the match: “Our match started out rough tonight in the first set. We are still getting used to only having six players and getting things down. But we really picked things up the second set. The girls decided that they were going to do better and all they had to do was communicate. They did exactly that and started to really push back at Westview in the second set and do some things that they had not yet put together. Kellie Waring and Kristina Petersen did a great job of stepping up and leading the girls tonight. Their leadership and encouragement keeps us together and pushing forward. This entire group of girls works really hard and they are all eager to learn as much as they can. They showed that tonight in the second set and we are really looking forward to seeing the rest of their growth throughout the season.”
