West Noble High School's theatre troupe, Theatre33, is proud to announce our spring play, “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. Auditions were shortly after the spectacular musical AIDA and we are back in swing for this awesome show as well! “Almost, Maine” is set to perform March 15-17, 2013. Join us to explore the contemporary tales of love in many different forms.
Almost, Maine is about a fictional town in Maine in which several young adults are put into strange, awkward situations in which they soon find love. This is like a series of romantic comedies. It is said to be a ‘funny, sad romance.’
Every Saturday the cast and crew work on the stage to construct, build, and paint the set for the show. Crew members also work during the rehearsals on projects like painting the road signs that we always place at Bob Wysong Auto Sales, Subway and El Paraiso. You will soon see our creatively designed road signs.
We have begun process of making the stage; we say this because we aren’t going to use the actual stage. Almost, Maine will be in a round; like our 2011 musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” We look forward to seeing you at this funny, sweet, play this spring, March 15-17.
