Lady Chargers Advance to Sectional Finals

The West Noble Lady Chargers are advancing to the Sectional Finals again this year after defeating the Lakeland Lakers 60-49 in the IHSAA Sectional Semi Finals held at NorthWood on Friday night in Napannee.  The Chargers took an early 10-0 lead over the Lakers, but just couldn't seem to shake the Lakers.  Senior Kohdee Hicks gave the Chargers a huge lift off the bench with a career high 12 points.  Hicks was 5 for 5 from the field while connecting on 2 of 4 free throws.  Junior Kelsie Peterson led the scoring with a 16 point effort.  The Chargers defeated Tippy Valley in round one on Tuesday before advancing to Friday's semis.  The Lady Chargers will now face the tough Lady Panthers who advanced to the finals by defeating Wawasee and Fairfield convincingly.  The game begins at 7:30pm.  Good luck ladies!
