Chargers Fall To Warriors in NECC Showdown

The West Noble Chargers and Westview Warriors matched up for the 2nd time this season in Ligonier on Friday night in a battle of 14-1 teams and unfortunaely for the host Chargers...the Warriors were victorious by a 67-63 score in front of a standing room only crowd.  The red hot shooting Warriors jumped out to a 36-23 halftime lead before the Chargers rallied in the second half to cut the lead to four on their way to the 2nd loss of the season.  The Chargers(14-2) were led by 6'6 junior guard Phil Miller's 18 points while senior Nick Thomas added 15 and junior Keith Gibson 12.  Nick Noe and Drew Schermerhorn each chipped in 8 for the home team.  West Noble will next play at home against the always tough Northridge Raiders.  Game time is 1pm for the JV game this Saturday.  Good luck guys!
