1988 Sectional Champions To Be Honored Friday Night

Oh…how time flies!  It’s been 25 years since the West Noble Lady Chargers won the only girls basketball sectional title in school history.  The Lady Chargers went 13-8 during the season while defeating Westview and Prairie Heights to win the sectional crown under the direction of Head Coach Dave Brockett.  The Lady Chargers then defeated state ranked Winamac in the regional semi finals by a 64-39 score before falling to the mighty Warsaw Tigers 68-54.  Jana Beers and Jennie Tobey were both named to the All Regional teams for the Chargers.  At halftime of the boy’s varsity game on Friday night against Westview, the WNHS Athletic Department will be honoring the team and coaches.
