Chargers Drop Opener to Knights

The West Noble Gymnastics team started off the season with a meet against the East Noble Knights and came away with encouraging results.  The Chargers, despite losing the meet 85.25-75.95, came away with some real bright spots.  In the vault, Audree Ritchie tied for 2nd while Monica Guerrero and Kennedy Champion tied for 5th.  Ritchie and Amanda Huntsman then placed 3rd and 4th in the Uneven Bars.  In the Floor Exercise competition, Huntsman placed 2nd while Ritchie was 3rd.  Finally, on the Balance Beam, the Chargers had a3rd and 4th place finish with Huntsman and Ritchie.  In the JV meet, Savannah Porter won the Vault with an 8.1.  In the overall competiton, Audree Ritchie finished 3rd and Amanda Huntsman placed 4th.  Great job ladies!.  The Chargers will travel to Elkhart Central on Tuesday for a 6:30pm start.  Good luck ladies.
