Chargers Sweep Eagles in Boy's Hoops

The West Noble Varisty Boys team continued their winning ways with a 46-28 victory over the Churubusco Eagles on Saturday night.  The Chargers(5-0) were led in scoring by Drew Schermerhorn’s 15 points, Nick Noe’s 11 and Keith Gibson’s 10.  6’6” junior Phil Miller led the Chargers in assists with 7 and also blocked 2 shots.  The Chargers led 30-10 at halftime as they notched their first NECC win of the season.  West Noble will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Central Noble to take on the Cougars inAlbion.  Great job guys!

It was another good win for the West Noble Junior Varsity Boys’ Basketball team as they beat the Churubusco Eagles 45 to 23. It was an excellent defensive effort by all of the Charger boys as they held an opponent under 25 points for the third time in five games this season. Offensively, Kyler Warble led the way with 15 points while Waylon Richardson added 13. Guards Nik Risser and Brandon Moser also did a good job of directing traffic for the Chargers(4-1). Their next game will be Friday, December 14 at Central Noble.
