IHSAA Tip of the Week
November 20, 2012By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High School
How do you react if you have a bad practice? If you aren't disappointed with a poor practice, that same attitude has a good chance of carrying over into your game day performance.
The same holds true in the classroom. If you take the approach that you only care about how you do on your tests, and forget about your daily assignments, you will probably fall short of your academic potential.
Giving a solid effort day in and day out, both in the classroom and in your sport, will produce better results for you and your team. There are no shortcuts for those who want to be achievers!
