Valley Tops Chargers in Sectional Football

The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings defeated the West Noble Chargers in the opening round of the IHSAA Sectionals by a score of 44-0.  The Vikings(8-2) combined a prolific running attack and a sound passing attack to jump out to a 26-0 halftime lead.  The Chargers weren't able to put together a scoring drive against the strong Valley defense.  Playing in their last game for the Chargers were seniors Steven Svara, Emanuel Macias, Erik Mawhorter and Johnny Miller.  The Chargers return a strong nucleus next year as many of the underclassman received valuable playing time.
