Chargers Fall in Sectional Championship Game

The dream season for the West Noble Charger tennis team came to an end Saturday afternoon at East Noble in the Sectional Championship Match.  The host Knights defeated the Chargers 4-1 despite the youthful Chargers best effort.  The lone victory came at #3 singles by freshman Josh Gaff.  At #2 doubles, the Chargers nearly squeaked out a victory as the duo of Jacob Musselman and Grant Moser lost by a 4-6,4-6 score.  The Chargers return their entire team next year as they had 8 freshman on the roster this year.  The Chargers(10-8) were led this season by juniors Tyler Rothhaar and Quinn Groff as they helped bring the young guys along with their strong leadership.  Great season guys!

2 Doubles: East Noble (Jon Toles, Carl Kramer) def. West Noble (Jacob Musselman, Grant Moser) - 6-4, 6-4
