Golfers Play Well in Sectional

The West Noble golf team played well at the East Noble Sectional held at Noble Hawk Golf Course in Kendallville by placing 7th place.  Freshman Paige Shearer led the Chargers with a phenomenal round of 90, just missing the cut to qualify for regionals by 1 stroke.  Junior Rachel Stohlman shot a solid round at 103 while sophomore Haley Teel shot a 104.  Other Chargers competing were senior Bre Whitney with a 116 and sophomore Bailey Kruger carding a 124.  The Chargers won 5 matches this year with a relatively young squad.  The team will miss the leadership of Bre Whitney next year as they hope to improve on this season's successes.
