By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolWest Noble's Kevin Handshoe recently signed his letter intent to run Cross Country and Track at Purdue University. Kevin will study Computers at the Big Ten school located in West Lafayette. Kevin is the son of Gary and Karen Handshoe of Wawaka. Kevin was a sectional and regional champion this spring in Track. Kevin also earned All State honors by finishing 8th place in the 1600 m run. After the state meet, Kevin was receiving a lot of Division 1 interest from the likes of Indiana State and Eastern Michigan before deciding on the Boilermakers.
