Home » Girls' Softball NewsEagles Clip Chargers in Late InningsMay 16, 2012 By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolThe West Noble girl’s softball team jumped out to a 6-2 lead going into the 6th inning before the host Fremont Eagles scored 5 runs to take the lead. The Chargers(13-10) had 12 hits on the evening while the Eagles recorded 11. Ashley Shepherd, Molly Marsh, Chelsea Risser, Steph Swank and Alexis Morris each had 2 hits on the evening. Kelsie Peterson and Kaleigh DeBeck each added a hit also. Marsh had a homerun for the Chargers as they prepare for NECC rivalFairfield on Thursday. That game will take place on Thursday at 5pm with Senior Night activities taking place before the game. Good luck ladies.
