Girls Finish 6th at NECC Track Meet

The West Noble girls track team finished in 6th place at the NECC track meet held at Churubusco on Friday night.  The Chargers were led by the 2nd place finish of Amairany Cruz in the 400 while the 1600 M Relay team finished 2nd in their race.  Their time of 4:07 would have been a NECC record if not for the Fairfield team that nudged them out by less than 2 seconds.  Hannah Bright placed 3rd for the Chargers in the discus with a throw of 120'3".  Good job girls!  The Chargers will run at the East Noble Sectional on Tuesday night.  Field events begin at 5pm.
