Chargers Down Bruins in Softball

The Lady Charger softball team tuned up for the NECC tourney last night as they defeated the Bethany Christian Bruins 12-3 on a windy night that saw some strange fly balls.  The Chargers were led by 3 Ashley Shepherd hits, while teammate Kelsie Peterson recorded a triple and an inside the park home run.  Molly Marsh also added two hits while Chelsea Risser, Renee Zeigler, Kelsey Kiser, Steph Swank, Courtney Moore and Kaleigh DeBeck each added one hit each.  The Chargers face the Fairfield Falcons tonight in NECC Tourney action.  Game time is 5pm.
