Home » Girls' Softball NewsChargers Drop 1st to Lakewood ParkApril 17, 2012 By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolThe West Noble Charger softball team fell to the #1 ranked Lakewood Park team on Monday by a 5-2 score. The Chargers took an early 2-0 lead over the visiting Panthers but ulmitatley relinguished the lead. Molly Marsh and Stephanie Swank led the Chargers with 2 hits each while Kelsie Peterson and Chelsea Risser each had one hit. The Chargers were able to put the ball in play off of the tough pitching of Mikeila Boroff. West Noble also received strong pitching performances by Chelsea Risser and Kelsie Peterson. The Lady Chargers will face the Westview Warriors tonight at Westview. Game time is 5pm.
