Chargers Down Whitko for 7th Straight

The West Noble Charger softball team continued its early season success by defeating the Whitko Wildcats by a score of 14-1.  The Chargers took a 2-1 lead into the 4th before exploding for 12 runs in the bottom of 4.  Leading the hit parade was Kelsie Peterson with 3 hits and 5 RBIs while teammates Ashley Shepherd and Kaleigh DeBeck each added 2 hits each.  Molly Marsh Chelsea Risser and Steph Swank each added one hit.  Marsh added 3 RBIs, Risser 2 and DeBeck 1 for the 7-0 Chargers.  Peterson went the distance giving up just 6 hits and striking out 5.  Great job ladies.  The Chargers host the always tough Prairie Heights Panthers tonight at 5pm.
