April 11, 2012
By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolIn what is one of the rarest circumstances, the West Noble boys golf team finished in a four way tie with Lakeland, Elkhart Memorial and Goshen. All teams totaled 175 with their first 4 golfers while Goshen won the meet with the 5th man tiebreaker. The Chargers recieved strong performances from their team on Tuesday in the the frigid, windy conditions at Heron Creek. Austin King led the Chargers with a 41 while fellow senior Seth Bontrager carded a 43. The Chargers are back in action tonight against the NorthWood Panthers at McCormick Creek in Napanee.
