Redskins Down Chargers in Baseball Action

The West Noble baseball team underwent some growing pains last night under 1st year coach Doug Brown.  The Chargers defense made a few too many miscues against the talented Redskin squad on a windy night on Charger Field.  Senior Kevin Marsh, a newcomer to high school baseball, pitched for the Chargers and had a solid performance through 4 innings giving up only 3 unearned runs.   It was Marsh's first time pitching in at least 5 years.  Charger right fielder Austin Frain had the highlight of the night  with a diving catch early in the game to retire a Goshen hitter.  At the plate, Korey Kendall, Cy Mikel, Jesus Luevano, and Josh Chupp all added hits for the Chargers.  The Chargers will face the Hamilton Marines tonight at West Noble for a 5pm start.  Come out and support the Chargers!
