West Noble Rolls Past Angola

The West Noble Chargers boys basketball team continues its roll as they defeated the Angola Hornets Saturday night in NECC action. The Chargers and Hornets battled to a 23-23 halftime tie, before the Chargers took control of the visitors in front of a large home crowd for Alumni night. Phil Miller and Drew Schermerhorn led the Chargers with 11 points while Keith Gibson chipped in 9 and Nick Noe 6. Noe led the Chargers with 5 rebounds and 3 assists while Miller also added 3 assists. The Chargers are now 11-9 for the season and 5-5 in the NECC. Great job guys. Next up for West Noble will be the season finale against the Goshen Redskins on Senior Night this Friday.
The West Noble JV team had their most impressive performance of the season with a 58-51 victory over the Angola Hornets. Leading the way with a career high was Brandon Evans with 23 points. Also chipping in for the Chargers was the Freshman duo of Nik Risser and Waylon Richardson with 10 and 7 points respectively. Way to go guys.
