Home » Boys' Basketball NewsRaiders Rally to Defeat ChargersFebruary 13, 2012 By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolThe West Noble Chargers boys basketball team traveled to Middlebury for an afternoon boys contest on Saturday. Unfortunately for the Chargers, the host Raiders outscored the Chargers by 8 in the final quarter to win by a 54-47 score. The Chargers once again received a balanced effort. Sophomore Keith Gibson led the scoring with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Classmates Drew Schermerhorn and Phil Miller each chipped in 8 points while also dishing out 3 assists apiece. Nick Thomas added 7 points and 3 assists while Nick Noe scored 6 while also securing 5 boards and 3 assists. The Chargers will be back in action on Friday night against the Hamilton Marines. Game time is 6pm and the game will be at Hamilton. Good luck guys. In JV action, the Chargers fell by a score of 47-34. West NobleTeam Roster & Game Stats
