Home » Boys' Basketball NewsChargers Down Marines in Tourney ActionJanuary 11, 2012 By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolThe West Noble Charger boys basketball team defeated the Hamilton Marines in NECC Tourney action on Tuesday evening by the score of 69-43. The Chargers will now advance to play the Eastside Blazers Wednesday night at West Noble. The game will follow the girls varsity game which starts at 6pm. Leading scorers for the Chargers were Nick Noe and Drew Schermerhorn with 16 points each. Phil Miller added 11 points, 8 assists and a thunderous slam dunk in the first half for the Chargers.
