Home » Wrestling NewsDekalb is Crowned West Noble Super Duals ChampionJanuary 9, 2012 By Tom Schermerhorn of West Noble High SchoolWest Noble High School hosted a 10 team Wrestling Super Dual on Saturday. The host Chargers finished 2-3 on the day as they ran into some stiff competition at the meet. The Dekalb Barons defeated a tough Jimtown team in the finals 36-32 to take the trophy home. Jimtown's Nick Crume was awarded the "Phil Ball Award" for the meets outstanding wrestler award. Phil was an 185lb state champion for West Noble back in the 70's for the Chargers. The Award was voted on by the coaches based on ability, character and sportsmanship. Congratulations Nick.
