Girls win Lady Mustang 7v7

West Jones won the first Lady Mustang 7v7 with victories over Warren Central (9-0), Petal (9-2) and Oak Grove (6-4).

Playing for West Jones green were Abby Baravik, Somer Anderson, Beth Coleman, Carly Mauldin, Hunter Eady, Mia Bridges, Meredith Follis, Payton Roney and Taylor Herring.

"I was very pleased with our movement off the ball and our finishing. The girls are seeing their runs and making quality passes. Our defending has been very good this summer," said Coach Craig Winship. "We would like to thank all the schools that sent teams to our event."

The boys' 7v7 will be held at Calhoun on Thursday, June 14 starting at 9:00. Admission is free and a concession stand will be open.
