There's big news in Southern California prep basketball. Eric Cooper, who built La Verne Lutheran into a powerhouse as coach, is leaving the school to become head coach at Long Beach St. Anthony. And he said he's bringing with him his son, junior point guard Eric Jr., an Arizona commit.

La Verne Lutheran won two Southern Section titles and back-to-back state championships.
