Lady Trojans will play in Sectional Final Tonight!

West Central makes the most of 10 hits in 8-6 victory over Tri County and advanced to the sectional final tonight v. Pioneer. Game time is 5PM at North White HS.
West Central and Tri County each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but West Central capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 8-6 win at North white.
Tri County got 11 hits compared with just 10 for West Central, but Tri County stranded 11 on base.
West Central held off Tri County, as Tri County was unable to overcome a four-run fifth inning deficit.
Tri County scored on an RBI single by C VanWyk and an RBI single by K Whitcomb in the fifth inning and a two-run single by Mcwhirter in the sixth inning. Still, Tri County couldn't catch West Central.
Hannah Czarnecki paced West Central at the plate. Czarnecki went 3-4, drove in one and scored three runs. She singled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the seventh inning.
Joelyn Flotow got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed four runs over four innings. She struck out one, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
The bottom of the first saw Tri County take an early lead, 2-0. Tri County pushed more runs across when Dixon scored on an error.
The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as West Central scored three runs on three singles.
West Central piled on three more runs in the top of the fifth. A wild pitch scored Cali Fairchild to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Cortney Feuquay's single, scoring Czarnecki and Autumn Wireman.
West Central pushed across one run in both the sixth inning and the seventh. In the sixth, West Central scored on an RBI single by Flotow, scoring Ashton Barkho.
