Girls place 2nd at Sectional - Numerous girls advance to Regionals!

Last night the Lady Trojan Track Team traveled to K.V. to compete in their Sectional meet.  The team placed 2nd to a very talented K.V. team, and finished the meet with 73 points.  Regional Qualifiers include: 3200 M Relay team: Barkho, Krintz, Wenzel, and Bailey placed 2nd.  400 M Relay team: Tanner, Kruger, Gudeman, and Hamilton placed 3rd.  Mickayla Wenzel placed 3rd in the 400, and 2nd in the 800. Ashton Barkho placed 3rd in the 1600, and 4th in the 3200.  Marissa Hamilton placed 1st in the high jump, for her 4th consecutive Sectional Championship with a school and Sectional record breaking jump of 5' 6 5/8", and placed 1st in the 100 M Hurdles.  Congratulations to all Regional Qualifiers! Other places for the team are: 1600 M Relay: Wenzel, A. Bushman, Kruger, and Tanner 5th. 300 M Hurdles: Kruger 7th.  High Jump: Kruger 5th. Long Jump: Barkho 8th. 800 M: Bailey 6th.
