West Central falls to Pioneer 8-3 in spite of Kruger's performance

Justine Kruger did all she could to give West Central a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Pioneer, as West Central lost 8-3 in seven innings at West Central on Thursday.

Kruger paced West Central at the plate. Kruger went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. She singled in the first and seventh innings.

B Bingaman recorded the win for Pioneer. She allowed three runs over seven innings. Bingaman struck out 12, walked none and gave up four hits.

West Central scored one run in the bottom of the seventh to cut its deficit to five but that was all the Trojans could plate in the 7th.
